Best aspects of my Christmas stay were the marvelous sea view from the balcony and the excellent breakfast buffet which served both Asian and western dishes. the hotel's location was perfect, right by the sea and near several restaurants and shops. I also enjoyed the garden and pool area which were well-maintained and cozy.

Good hotel, comfortable. very good location for beach, shoping, places of interest. The staff can speak english, that was very important.

The food was very special, so it could be difficult to stay in it with little european kids.

Easy access to the beach. Beach chair available and watched over by a hotel employee. The Concierge gave good advice throughout our stay. Air conditioning was excellent. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. It was a shame there was not a better choice of food available.

No vegetarian food available on the restaurant menu. Pizzas and other Italian food was advertised in the hotel as being available but this restaurant was not open.

Upon arrival the staff did not speak English. I was with a chinese friend so it was ok, but I had made the booking and they would not speak to me in English. This led to some misunderstandings which was very frustrating. Also, if you are booking a taxi in the morning from the hotel to the airport, they make you pay double (60 RMB rather than 25 RMB) which was another annoyance. There was also a plaster in the shower, not very pleasant.

very noisy as it is so near the main road, with heavy traffic; gymnasium was not available, although listed on brochure. breakfast was so so: juice, sausage, coffee, was unsatisfactor, not commensurate with a 5 star hotel.

the exclusive amenities, such as the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace, exceeded my expectations. the garden area with beach umbrellas and sun loungers offered a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful coastal views. the private facilities in my room were fantastic, making me feel pampered and comfortable.

the restaurant still offered a great dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.

The room was a very big and the view was amazing. Staff were very friendly, and spoke some english.

Could do with a gym, and they ran out of double bed room, so they pushed two beds together.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is walking distance to the pedestrian precinct and the seafood market.

But the cleanliness of the hotel is so poor and we booked the sea view room cannot really see the sea, it is facing the city and only partly see the sea.

I had a great stay at this hotel which was located right on the beach and very close to the intended area. The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities, including the free bike rental, were great. The staff was helpful and allowed me to have free late check-out until 6 pm which was a big plus.

Price is slightly high in comparison to the other ***** hotels.

The hotel has a great location close to the beach and other amenities. the room was spacious and comfortable. the staff were friendly and accommodating. the hotel offered a good breakfast with Chinese and Western options.

Very nice hotel, nice big rooms (We had deluxe room). Ofcourse if u chose room with city view do not expect mush of the view:) If you have posibility better stay at rooms with seaside view. Very good chines stile breakfest.

Hotel is located seaside, but not near the beach. To reach closest beach u have to take taxi or go by bus (20 min -45 h) and beach is very crowded. Hotel is located near the walking street, but theres no much to see. Sanya is quite expensive resort, and it is not very well developed for tourists need comparing to European resorts. Except laying in the beach and walking theres is nothing to do and see. Do not have very big expectations from this tropical island.

The location of this hotel was great – it was right on the beach and the view from our room was fantastic. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had some nice local delicacies to try. The hotel facilities were generally good and well-maintained.

Our Christmas stay at this hotel was marred by some major drawbacks. Firstly, there was no soundproofing whatsoever – we could hear every little sound from the neighboring rooms and the street outside. Secondly, the staff were very unhelpful and unprofessional. They seemed unprepared for the holiday season and were slow to respond to our requests and complaints. The service overall was very hit-and-miss. Finally, the advertised amenities did not match reality – some of the things we were hoping to enjoy were not available or were not as described in the hotel's marketing. we were disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel to others.
